  1. Sorry this took so long. I've been really busy. Also this was the hardest top 50 list I've had to make so far. Mostly because I didn't think 2011 was a great year for music, like I did with all the past top 50s I've done. There were a ton of good albums released in 2011 but not so many truly great ones. My depression had a part in how I enjoyed and listened to music in 2011 too. And I spent a lot of time exploring different genres and making alot of mixtapes. My list is completely different from any other top 2011 list I've seen, so I'm probably wrong about my choices but whatever...
I don't know what, if anything, I'm gonna do with this blog in 2012. I'm thinking this will be the year I get shut down. We'll see. In the meantime I've reuploaded a bunch of albums for this list and will try to get my mixes re-uploaded soon. Cheers to anybody who still gives a shit.

  4. Thanks for compiling this, even though it will take ages to listen to 50 records the way they're meant to be listened to, I appreciate it very much. This is almost as nice as someone walking up to my desk, dropping a pile of 50 records and saying 'Enjoy.'

  5. Been waiting for this bad boy!

Depression really is a fuckin son of a bitch, and I really hope you treat her like the cunt she is.

If your passion remains, don't stop posting the good stuff - even if it's only once a month. But if you wake up - think twice - and then still decide this isn't helping your current situation, then by all means let this blog go.

There was a time where I only ventured to two blogspots. Stonerobixxx and Soundweave. Whereas you've taken a break, Stonerobixxx just keeps getting bigger. This is me saying you're great at running this blog, and you have a unique ear and open-mind that most people don't possess. That's not to say I love everything you post, but I do enjoy the adventure of listening to what you post.

Keep your chin up. Literally. It helps. Thanks again for the list, dude! \m/

    Peace.

  11. Hi, would you be interested in putting the whole new PIGS album (noise / hardcore band from NY with Dave Curran from Unsane) on soundweave ? We also released a few records for Sofy Major and Membrane, noise/metal bands from France who would love their music to be spread.

Can't find your contact over here, sorry for spamming the comments, here is my email and our website :

  13. Awesome! Great collection of albums, continue posting this kind of blog posts, but, try to add even little description to each picture so that viewer could have knowledge on this, saying, "ah,this is it, this is what it looks like.." I like the way you presented it..
